greenismyfavcolor asked: prices around here are different- we have a few awesome church run thrift places that are super cheep (50 cents for most shirts and 2 dollars for pants) but good will and a few others are around 7 dollars for pants 4 dollars for shirts and 3 to 6 dollars for shoes and around a dollar for accessories depending on what it is. Hope this helps and keep on thrifting!!

Today's Haul
I work about an hour away from home and haven’t really explored the area until now! On my lunch break I visited the local Salvation Army and picked up a hair curler, blazer, shoes and a scarf! Pics to come ;)

Tip of the Day #3
You know the saying “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” ? Well it holds true! We not only see it in garage sales and thrift stores we see it on-line all the time.  You want something but don’t have the money to pay for it, how do you get it? Simple. Ask for it! Try sites like Craigslist or Kijiji. Simply place an ad letting people know that you are so...

Thrifty Tip of the Day #2
If your shoe size is between 5-8, you can get away with buying kids shoes at most shoe stores. Kids shoes are significantly less expensive yet still come in amazing styles and varieties. The shoes below on the left are a kids size 7!

Thrifty Tip of the Day #1
Before pressing ‘Check-out’ on your next on-line purchase, google the company your buying from plus “coupon code”. Half the time, I usually find a coupon code that gets me between 10-30% off my shopping cart.  Here’s an example: http://smartcanucks.ca/amazon-canada-coupon-codes-10-off-40-discount/
